ARLINGTON, V.A. — The Washington Capitals will be bringing back the copper, blue and bronze color scheme as the new Reverse Retro jerseys.

On Tuesday, the Capitals hit the ice for practice in the new gear. They will be wearing black helmets, with black gloves, black socks and black pants with bronze stars. The jerseys will likely be black, and perhaps fitting with the previously leaked Reverse Retro concept.

Meanwhile, Darcy Kuemper debuted a new Reverse Retro setup with vintage brown pads, blocker and gloves, along with a new helmet.

Here’s a look:

Washington’s jersey will likely feature the “Screaming Eagle,” similar to their 2020-21 Reverse Retros. However, this will fit the 1995-2007 color scheme, whereas the last RR sweaters were red, white and blue.
