Eller Leaves Capitals Morning Skate After Warm-Up

The Washington Capitals again face questions surrounding their lineup as they go into Tuesday's tilt with the Chicago Blackhawks, as Lars Eller has left the morning skate in Chicago.

Eller was out on the ice warming up and then left the surface. He did not return, and his status remains unclear for Tuesday.

Eller has been red-hot of late and has goals in back-to-back games and points in four of his last five outings. His third line with Anthony Mantha and Marcus Johansson has also been clicking well.

Through 30 games this season, the Dane has six goals and six assists and a +/- of minus-1. He played in his 900th career NHL game back on Sunday and scored in a dominant Capitals 5-2 win over the first-place Winnipeg Jets.
