BREAKING: Oshie Leaves Capitals-Leafs With Injury, Won’t Return
Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie has left the team’s tilt with the Toronto Maple Leafs with an upper-body injury. He won’t return.
WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals saw some tough news on the T.J. Oshie front, as the forward has left the team's Saturday tilt with the Toronto Maple Leafs with an upper-body injury.
Washington announced he will not return to Saturday's game and will be re-evaluated on Sunday.
Oshie appeared to pull up during a shift and left the ice in pain. After staying on the bench and standing for a bit, he appeared to be in a lot of discomfort and went slowly down the tunnel. He used the boards for help going to the dressing room.

The injury appeared similar to the one he suffered in Nashville on Oct. 29 that held him out for nearly a month. Oshie has played in 21 games this season, recording 11 points.
