WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals saw some tough news on the T.J. Oshie front, as the forward has left the team's Saturday tilt with the Toronto Maple Leafs with an upper-body injury.

Washington announced he will not return to Saturday's game and will be re-evaluated on Sunday.

Oshie appeared to pull up during a shift and left the ice in pain. After staying on the bench and standing for a bit, he appeared to be in a lot of discomfort and went slowly down the tunnel. He used the boards for help going to the dressing room.

Here's what happened:

The injury appeared similar to the one he suffered in Nashville on Oct. 29 that held him out for nearly a month. Oshie has played in 21 games this season, recording 11 points.
