As Alex Ovechkin walked into the visiting locker room at United Center following his hat trick and 800th career goal in the Washington Capitals' 7-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, he was met with a shower of Bud Light.

The Capitals locker room went all out to celebrate their captain, as they all jumped on Ovechkin and went wild after the game.

"We gave him a little shower with his favorite: Bud Light. Like I said, this moment, you can't buy those moments," Evgeny Kuznetsov told reporters postgame, via The Washington Post's Samantha Pell. "That is the memories."

In addition to the beer shower, Ovechkin also got hugs and congratulations all around, including a special moment between him and longtime teammate and good friend Nicklas Backstrom. Then, he took a photo with all three pucks.

After scoring three goals en route to the Capitals' fifth-straight win, Ovechkin is now the third player in NHL history to hit the 800 mark and the first European player to ever accomplish that feat. He is now two goals away from passing Gordie Howe for second on the NHL's all-time goals list and 95 from breaking Wayne Gretzky's all-time record.
