REPORT: Capitals Trading Hathaway & Orlov To Bruins
The Washington Capitals are reportedly trading Garnet Hathaway to the Boston Bruins.
WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals are reportedly trading Garnet Hathaway and Dmitry Orlov the Boston Bruins.
Per multiple reports, the Capitals are working on sending Hathaway and Orlov to the Bruins, and The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun is reporting that Craig Smith and picks are part of the return.
Orlov and the team had reportedly starting contract extension talks, but those talks were reportedly "nowhere" with both sides not agreeing on term.
