Kuznetsov A Game-Time Decision For Capitals vs. Canucks
ARLINGTON, V.A. — Washington Capitals center Evgeny Kuznetsov will be a game-time decision against the Vancouver Canucks, the team said on Monday. He is not taking part in the morning skate.
The team said that Kuznetsov is missing the Monday skate due to “maintenance.” It’s unclear, however, if there’s an injury or not. In the meantime, with Kuznetsov’s status up in the air for Monday, Connor McMichael has drawn in for him on the second line. So, if Kuznetsov is out Monday, McMichael will likely make his season debut.
Here were the lines on Monday:
Alex Ovechkin-Dylan Strome-Connor Brown
Anthony Mantha-Connor McMichael-T.J. Oshie
Marcus Johansson-Lars Eller-Aliaksei Protas
Conor Sheary-Nic Dowd-Garnet Hathaway
Martin Fehervary-John Carlson
Dmitry Orlov-Nick Jensen
Erik Gustafsson-Trevor van Riemsdyk
Darcy Kuemper
Charlie Lindgren
Washington, fresh off its first win of the season, is hosting the Canucks at 7 p.m. at Capital One Arena.
