Beyond the NHL, the Washington Capitals have some big life goals and aspirations. Darcy Kuemper'rs takes the cake, though, as he's apparently on a mission to… bring back the dinosaurs.

Players were asked about their life goals and aspirations the Capitals' annual "W" magazine, and that's where Kuemper revealed his desire to bring back the prehistoric creatures — and from the way he phrased his explanation, it appears that there's a plan in the works.

"Jurassic Park was one of my favorite movies growing up, so I think that’d be pretty cool. I’m not quite sure how to do it yet. But I’ll figure it out," he told the magazine.

A bit of a strange aspiration, but goaltending partner Charlie Lindgren did say that he and Kuemper are probably a couple of the "more normal goalies in the league."

Kuemper is in his first year with Washington after signing a five-year deal in the offseason following his Stanley Cup run with the Colorado Avalanche. Through 20 starts, he has a .916 save percentage. The veteran netminder is currently day-to-day with a lower-bdoy injury.

Fans can buy the Capitals' "W" magazine now at the team stores or online at washcaps.com/wmagazine. It's a lifestyle magazine that features in-depth interviews with the players, photos and more.
