The Washington Capitals kicked off their three-game road swing with a picture-perfect 4-0 win in the Desert, as they finally clicked on multiple levels and pulled out an impressive, critical victory over the Arizona Coyotes.

While that was happening, the NHL revealed the rest of the NHL All-Stars who will be headed to South Florida and also announced some ASG jersey news. There's also been more talk brewing regarding the Stadium Series sweaters.

Here are all the latest news and notes from D.C. and across the league:

Top Shelf Takes

– We had the leak on the jerseys last week. Here's what the sweaters look like as they pay homage to the mid-90s and go "Reverse Retro." Seeing Alex Ovechkin in a throwback Eastern Conference with "Miami Vice" accents should be cool.

– Speaking of jerseys, the Stadium Series is now just over four weeks out. Clock is ticking on the jersey release, though there are potential Carolian Hurriacnes jersey leaks making their rounds on the Internet. From the looks of it, they're black jerseys with a red Hurricane logo on the chest. Icethetics confirmed the possible leak and did an in-depth video detailing the sweater.

– Darcy Kuemper's league-leading five shutouts are also the most ever among a Capitals goalie through their first 30 games in a season. His .920 save percentage ranks fifth in the league among goalies with at least 29 games played, and he continues to impress and come up big with his consistency. He and Charlie Lindgren were both two of the best signings this offseason, and Washington continues to reap the benefits from changing things up between the pipes.

– The "BMW" line has been outstanding and among the most dangerous units for the Capitals — we'll have a feature on them later today.
