Rasmus Sandin Day-To-Day After Knee-To-Knee Collision In Worlds

Washington Capitals defenseman Rasmus Sandin is day-to-day with a lower body injury, Team Sweden announced Wednesday.

Sandin left Tuesday’s World Championships matchup against the USA after a knee-to-knee collision. American forward Michael Eyssimont was ejected for the hit.

Entering Tuesday’s game, Sandin led the Swedish team with more than 21 minutes per game.
