NHL’s Trade Deadline Set For March 8

The NHL trade deadline will be March 8 at 3 p.m., according to the league.

The Washington Capitals were players around the 2023 trade deadline, dealing players like Dmitry Orlov, Garnet Hathaway and Lars Eller. Across five trades, the team emerged with defenseman Rasmus Sandin and a handful of future draft picks.

The Capitals open the regular season on Oct. 13, hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:30 p.m.
