They hold the record for the most Calder Cup Championships in AHL history, but the Hershey Bears are now four games away from adding another.

Shane Gersich sent a rebounded shot into the net of the Rochester Americans midway through Friday’s Game 6, providing the Bears with the ultimate 1-0 victory and advancing them to the Calder Cup Finals.

Hershey goalie Hunter Shepard, the game’s first star, saved all 24 of the shots he faced, securing the team’s win.
