Andrew Cristall, Capitals’ 2nd-Rounder, Headed Back To Juniors

Andrew Cristall, the Washington Capitals’ second-round pick in the 2023 draft, has been loaned to the WHL’s Kelowna Rockets, the Capitals announced Friday.
Cristall, who signed an entry-level contract with the Capitals in July, returns to Kelowna after posting a team-high 95 points — 39 goals, 56 assists — a season ago.
The 18-year-old Cristall played in Thursday’s Capitals preseason game against the Red Wings, assisting on a third period goal by Rasmus Sandin.
The Capitals’ preseason roster now stands at 50 players.
"I think I got comfortable as the game went on, but it was a lot of fun to go out there and play with the pros for a day."
