Capitals 2023 Stadium Series Jerseys Are Here
The Washington Capitals 2023 Stadium Series jerseys are here for their outdoor game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Feb. 18.
The Washington Capitals Stadium Series jerseys are officially here with just about three weeks to go until their outdoor game in Raleigh against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Washington's sweaters are white and feature the "Weagle" as the primary logo, marking the first time in the team's history that their secondary logo will be on the front of the jersey. The red color has been taken out of the logo and is just blue and white, while the red is incorporated into other parts of the sweater, and the front crest is large and covers most of the jersey. The sleeves feature a blue stripe around the top of the arm and a red stripe at the wrist. The neck features two red hockey laces, which represent the D.C. flag.
Here's the jersey, and players will wear blue helmets, navy blue gloves with red cuffs and blue pants with white stars on them. Their socks will be red, white and blue.

The puck drops for the Stadium Series showdown on Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. ET at Carter-Finley Stadium, home of the North Carolina State Wolfpack's football team.
Carolina is expected to release its jersey today too, which appears to be black with its classic red Hurricane logo based on a leak from Icethetics.
This is Washington's fourth outdoor game. The Capitals last played outside when they hosted the 2018 Stadium Series in Annapolis, where they defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-2. Washington and Carolina will meet just a few days before the festivities for a Feb. 14 tilt. That will be the first meeting between these two clubs this season.
The Capitals Stadium Series are on sale here at Adidas. Washington's team store at MedStar Capitals Iceplex is also open from 9-7 p.m. on Thursday, and the sweaters are on sale at the team's practice facility in Arlington, V.A. The Capitals also play the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, and they will likely be available at Capital One Arena.
