Capitals prospect Hendrix Lapierre

The Washington Capitals’ full development camp roster and schedule are here, as the team will see multiple prospects take the ice at MedStar Capitals Iceplex.

Camp runs from July 11-16, with a scrimmage at Capital One Arena on July 15. The roster features quite a few standout names, including 2020 first-rounder Hendrix Lapierre, who could potentially compete for an NHL spot this coming season.

Ivan Miroshnichenko, Hendrix Lapierre and Vincent Iorio are just a couple of notable names that will be in attendance. Miroshnichenko won’t take part in the on-ice sessions. 2022 picks Ryan Chesley, Alexander Suzdalev, Ludwig Persson, Jake Karabela, Ryan Hofer and David Gucciardi will also participate.

All on-ice sessions are free to watch and open to the public. The scrimmage at Capital One Arena is also free to attend. Fans can RSVP here.

This is the first development camp since 2019. The Capitals took a two-year hiatus in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. There was a rookie camp right before training camp, though, back in September 2021.
