Washington Capitals Release 2021-22 Promotional Schedule Featuring Wilson Bobbleheads

Washington Capitals hockey returns on Oct. 13 against the Rangers. Meanwhile, the team announced its promotional schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 campaign at Capital One Arena.

Several nights will feature fan giveaways, gifts with purchase and theme nights. The promotional calendar will also feature community-focused games that spotlight Hockey Fights Cancer, Black History, Chinese Heritage, Military and Women in Hockey themes.

The team will be giving away free 2021-22 schedule magnets presented by Geico at the team’s home opener. After that, the Capitals will host Tom Wilson bobblehead night is on Oct. 27 vs. the Detroit Red Wings.

Washington will also hold Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Nov. 14 as the Capitals face the Penguins. The giveaway for that night will be a lavender “I Fight For” rally towel. Later, Pride Night will be held on March 3 vs. Carolina.

The team will also give away a festive holiday sweater shirt on Dec. 6 vs. Anaheim, as well as a John Carlson bobblehead on March 22 vs. St. Louis. Washington will later hold its annual Fan Appreciation Night presented by Bud Light on April 28 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

In addition, the Capitals will host a Kids Game on Jan. 16 vs. Vancouver and a Youth Hockey Night on March 20 vs. Dallas. Washington will also bring back its Capitals College Series Nights, which feature team hats in school colors with the purchase of college series tickets. George Mason University is featured on Oct. 19 vs. Colorado, followed by the University of Maryland on Oct. 29 vs. Arizona, James Madison University on Nov. 8 vs. Buffalo, Virginia Tech on Dec. 2 vs. Chicago, West Virginia University on Dec. 19 vs. L.A., George Washington University on Jan. 10 vs. Boston, the United States Naval Academy on Jan. 24 vs. Vegas, the University of Virginia on Feb. 2 vs. Edmonton, Virginia Commonwealth University on Feb. 28 vs. Toronto, American University on March 15 vs. the Islanders, Georgetown University on March 28 vs. Carolina and William & Mary on April 12 vs. Philadelphia.
