- It hasn’t been an easy few days for the hockey community. NHLers, fans and many more paid tribute to the late Hayes, a loved teammate, friend and family member who made a positive impact on everyone he met both on and off the ice. Rest in peace, “Broadway.” My thoughts and prayers are with everyone during this time.
When I think of a โlocker room guyโ I think of Jimmy โBroadwayโ Hayes. Very devastating news, he will be missed by so many, he always brought a smile to the rink in our time together in New Jersey. Our thoughts are with Kristen and their 2 young boys. Rest In Peace bud ๐๐ผ https://t.co/UOX7jIdL64

So devastated. Jimmy was not only a role model to me but also to so many young hockey players in Boston. All my love to Kristen, Beau, Mac, and the entire Hayes family
