GOTTA SEE IT: Capitals Break Fire Alarm During Pregame Soccer

Prior to game time, some of the Washington Capitals usually take part in some pregame soccer. And on Monday, it broke a fire alarm at Prudential Center.

Charlie Lindgren, Darcy Kuemper, Anthony Mantha, Alex Ovechkin, Aliaksei Protas and Nick Jensen were in a circle, juggling the ball together and trying to keep it in the air for as long as possible. Things were going great until Jensen’s kick went awry, and the ball banked off the door and behind him.

“Oh no,” he said.

The blueliner kept things going though, and as he kept the play going and got the ball back into play, it bounced off the fire alarm, breaking the cover.

Luckily, the alarm didn’t go off, and no harm came out of it. But it makes for a fun team-building moment as the Capitals kick off a road swing against the New Jersey Devils at 7 p.m.
