Backstrom Gets Heated, Wilson Throws Gloves Off As Frustration Boils Over For Capitals

The Washington Capitals are seeing frustration boils over as they trail the Vegas Golden Kngihts 5-1, and Nicklas Backstrom and Tom Wilson got into some pushing and shoving.

After the Washington Capitals surrendered the first five goals of the game against the Vegas Golden Knights, and frustration started to boil over in the second for Nicklas Backstrom and company.

After going hard to the net, the Capitals got involved in some standard pushing and shoving that took place in front. However, tension and frustration boiled over quickly, as Backstrom was extremely upset with Nicolas Hague. The two got into it in front of the net, as Backstrom ultimately ended up pulling off Hague's helmet as they exchanged words and bad blood.

Once Hague started engaging with Backstrom, Tom Wilson threw his gloves off and rushed to his teammates' aid.
