REPORT: Fehervary Spotted In Sling Following Capitals Loss To Flames

The Washington Capitals saw key pieces in Martin Fehervary and Darcy Kuemper go down with injuries in Saturday’s 5-2 loss to the Calgary Flames, and there didn’t appear to be great news on the Fehervary front after the game.
Per The Athletic’s Tarik El-Bashir, Fehervary was wearing a sling on his left arm after the game.
The 23-year-old left Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury after taking a big hit from Milan Lucic along the boards. He immediately left the ice and went down the tunnel. He didn’t return and will be re-evaluated on Sunday as the team travels to Edmonton.

Prior to Saturday’s game, Fehervary was getting things going offensively with goals in back-to-back games. Through 25 games this season, No. 42 has two goals and two assists and a +/- of plus-1. He also leads all Washington defensemen with 83 hits this season.
