WASHINGTON — On his night off, Darcy Kuemper had a bit of an adventure during the third period of the Washington Capitals' tilt with the Nashville Predators, and it led to him falling on his back and off of the bench.

At the start of a third-period power play, the Predators cleared the puck out of the zone and right into the Capitals' bench. It went straight for Dmitry Orlov and Kuemper, who attempted to grab it and ended up falling off the bench and onto his back.

He was all smiles as he got back up, and Orlov was able to recover the puck.

The 6-5 netminder is coming off his 11th win on the season and has a .916 save percentage through 25 games so far.
