Ovechkin will participate in the Hardest Shot as well, the competition he has become famous for thanks to his goal-scoring prowess and rocket of a shot from his "Office." The 37-year-old, who passed Gordie Howe as the second-leading goal scorer of all time and has 32 goals this season, will compete against Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Seth Jones, Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey and Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson.
