WATCH: Sidney Crosby Gets Dunked By Mikko Rantanen, Falls In Dunk Tank
Sidney Crosby ended up at the bottom of the dunk tank at the 2023 NHL All-Star Weekend.
Washington Capitals fans got a thrill out of the Splash Shot Challenge at the 2023 NHL All-Star Skills Competition, as they watched Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby fall into the dunk tank thanks to Colorado Avalanche star Mikko Rantanen.
Players had to shoot and knock down surfboards before dunking their opponents. Rantanen went 3-for-3 with the surfboards, and then after a couple of tries, dunked Crosby.
"I haven't ever been in a dunk tank," Crosby told ESPN. "I wouldn't say I was happy about it. But Rantanen went 3-for-3 and I was like, 'Okay, this is happening.'"
