The Capitals start their 50th Anniversary campaign on Saturday, October 12, against the New Jersey Devils at Capital One Arena. The month of September is almost over. Washington Hockey Now: Both the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins are trying a little bit longer with their stars to see whether they can win one more championship before the time is up. Alex Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, and Evgeni Malkin will not be playing in the league too much longer.

Washington Hockey Now: The New York Rangers finished the last regular season at the top of the mountain, claiming the President’s Trophy for the most points accumulated in the league with 114. What should the Washington Capitals and their fans expect from the Rangers come 2024-25?
