Hockey Now Headlines: Caps Preseason, Bruins & Swayman

The Washington Capitals have one more preseason game left on their schedule. They take on the Boston Bruins on Saturday, October 5, at Capital One Arena for a 5:00 p.m. faceoff. Washington also played against the Blue Jackets last night in Columbus. They were able to get their second victory of the 2024 preseason. Their regular season begins on Saturday, October 12, at home against the New Jersey Devils. With all of that being said, here are the October 1 edition of Hockey Now Headlines.



Hockey Now Headlines: Washington Capitals

Washington Hockey Now: The Washington Capitals defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets in their second-last preseason game. The club also sent forward Terik Parascak back to the Prince George Cougars in the Western Hockey League (WHL).

Washington Hockey Now: The Hershey Bears started their training camp on Monday. There are 40 players on the roster, including 23 forwards, 13 defensemen, and four goalies.

Washington Hockey Now: Before sending Parascak back to the WHL, the Washington Capitals also trimmed their training camp roster to 31 players.
